Love and the beauty of the Eastern Sierra inspired Artist, Shannon Meadows, to transform both her artistic style and subject matter in 2010. Her recent work exhibits the euphoric glory of mountain landscapes and is influenced by the work of the German Expressionists and Post Impressionists she has studied for years and also saw at the Hermitage Museum in Asmterdam in May of 2010. With this shift in approach after ten years of painting, she brings new voice and expression to her work. This evolution marks a breakthrough in her development as an artist.
